Interestingly, the overall price of this card has come down significantly in recent months, previously selling for around $800 to $1000 in PSA 10 condition about a year ago in early 2022.

The real value in the Topps Update SSP (super-variation) rookie card is its rarity, rather than its design, as is the case with most SSP cards.
The card utilizes the same overall layout and design specifications as the gold and sapphire cards, minus the respective color schemes, and lists the same basic information.
The difference is in the player photo of Bichette, which in this case, pictures him from the back in the aftermath of a swing.
Bichette appears to be admiring a long drive to the outfield, probably a home run, as many of the top younger players in MLB like to do.

Another valuable SSP (super-variation) card on this list. The #78 SSP displays an upper chest and headshot of Bichette smiling.
He appears to be wearing a warm-up jersey, meaning that the picture was probably taken during pre-game. He is also sporting some massive sunglasses on top of his baseball cap and a large necklace.
The photo of Bichette gives the card a nice, laid-back feel. Instead of the standard, player action photos that most cards use.
Although the card does contain the same layout as the other #78 rookie cards on this list. There is one minor difference. The Topps logo/brand name is displayed at the top left of the card instead of at the top right.

The 2020 Topps Chrome Rookie Autographs series featured many terrific young players in varying color designs, suited for high-end collectors.
The blue refractor autograph version featuring Bichette contains a picture of him fielding a ball in the infield alongside a beautiful blue border on the left.
The player signature is centered about two-thirds of the way down the front, near the knees/thighs of Bichette in the player photo. Underneath the signature near the bottom edge of the card the words “Topps Certified Autograph Issue” are printed.
The card displays the same overall design and player summary information as the other Topps Chrome cards in the 2020 series featuring Bichette.
When I was just starting out with my card collection, I had lots of questions about authenticity, trading, and card conditions. But with not that much information available online, I felt quite alone in my queries. Some questions still haven’t been answered to this day.
