Marshall Faulk is one of the greatest running backs in NFL history. Starring for both the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams in his 12-year hall of fame career.
He was a versatile player that excelled at both rushing and receiving. Amassing 12,279 rushing yards and 6,875 receiving yards, while also scoring 136 touchdowns during his career.
He was a 3-time 1st Team All-Pro Selection, 7-time Pro Bowl selection, the 2000 NFL MVP. And won a Super Bowl with the St. Louis Rams during the 1999 season.

The 1994 Pinnacle #198 rookie card is one of the rarer Marshall Faulk rookie cards in the marketplace. Thereby enhancing its value and desirability to collectors.
The front of the card employs a unique design. With the right and left sides of the card displaying a picture of a stadium, with the center of the card’s front containing a cut-out picture of Faulk.
The bottom of the card’s front reads “Marshall Faulk 94 Rookie” along with the Pinnacle name and logo, all in gold lettering.

One of the most recognizable NFL rookie cards of the mid-90s. The 1994 Topps #445 card is the starting point for any collection featuring Marshall Faulk.

The back of the card lists more information about Faulk than many of his other rookie cards typically include. Including all 3 years of his collegiate stats. It also lists his player attributes and strengths. Noting what Faulk will bring to the Indianapolis Colts franchise in the upcoming years.

The 1994 Playoff Contenders #104 card is considered a higher value Marshall Faulk rookie card. Largely due to the great reputation that Playoff Contenders had for making mid-90s rookie cards.
Admittedly though, this card does not stand out in terms of overall design or quality. The picture of Faulk running with the ball on the front of the card is pretty good. But the rest of the card contains little else.
The back of the card has almost no information about Faulk. Choosing instead to feature a close-up shot of his head that covers most of the card’s back. Still, most collectors tend to gravitate toward this card when choosing their top 90s football rookie cards.
6. 1994 Topps Stadium Club Bowman’s Best Blue Refractor Rookie Card, #1

By far the card with the most colorful and attractive design. The Topps Stadium Club Bowman’s Best Blue Refractor rookie card is a work of art that will stand out in any memorabilia collection.
The front photo of Faulk carrying the ball in a white Colts jersey is set against a brilliant blue and silver background. Along with bronze trim listing the Bowman’s Best logo.
The top third of the back of the card contains another photo of Faulk. Along with some stats and player skills information.
5. 1994 Upper Deck SP Foil Rookie Card, #3

The Upper Deck SP series contains 2 different rookie cards, a base version and a Die-Cut version.
The base version, the #3 Foil rookie card is in and of itself, a pretty valuable card as far as 90s football cards go. The card front shows Faulk running with the ball in his blue Colts jersey in live game action. A nice change from most of his rookie cards which typically show him in practice.
The back of the card also shows Faulk in a live game, picturing him being tackled by a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive player. The card contains a significant amount of college stats and player bio information.
4. 1994 Pinnacle Select Rookie Card, #SR1

The 1994 Pinnacle Select #SR1 rookie card is probably the the rarest card on this list. With no current listings on sportscardspro.com or psacard.com.
While it does have 8 cards currently listed for sale on eBay, only 2 of them are graded. Making it very difficult to put an accurate valuation on the card itself.
Technically a chrome card, although not indicated in its name. The front of the card showcases a picture of Faulk amid a very colorful gold and orange circle that has the appearance of “exploding” around him.
The back of the card also contains the same gold and orange color scheme. While also including typical player bio information and another action photo of Faulk.
3. 1994 Upper Deck SP Foil Die-Cut Rookie Card, #3

The most valuable Marshall Faulk rookie card so far on our list far is the specialized version of the SP Foil Marshall Faulk rookie card. Known as the Die-Cut version.
The Die-Cut version contains the same basic design specifications and card information as the base version. But setting itself apart by employing a darker, more metallic hue to the front of the card.
This card is extremely difficult to find in PSA 10 condition. It will no doubt command a significant price to collectors who can find a high-quality example.
2. 2015 Panini Flawless Gold Autographed Jersey Card, #GPA-MF

The first of 2 non-rookie cards on this list. The Panini Flawless Gold Autographed Jersey card continues the long line of successful high-end sports card memorabilia that Panini has become famous for.
This card featuring Faulk is one of only 10 on the market and commands a significant price if found in PSA 9 or 10.
A couple of ungraded versions of these cards are currently selling on eBay. Although high-end collectors often prefer their cards to be professionally graded upon purchase.
The top of the card’s front contains a photo of Faulk carrying the football. With his signature directly underneath, and the game-worn jersey patch below the signature.
1. 2014 Panini Greats Autographed Jersey Card, #GPA-MF
Approximate PSA 10 Value – $75,000
Approximate PSA 9 Value – $7,500
The Panini Greats series is one of the rarest and most valuable produced by the company.
Incredibly, Panini only produced one Marshall Faulk autographed jersey card in their 2014 series. Making it the holy grail of Faulk sports cards.
The card is currently available for sale on eBay for $10,000 but is not professionally graded.
Prospective buyers should reach out to Panini, the seller, and a professional grading company to find out an appropriate price for the item. Since a PSA 10 rating on this card could warrant an astronomical valuation.

Multiple full-size autographed football helmets are available. With probably the coolest option available for collectors being a helmet signed by both Faulk and Kurt Warner. Hall of fame teammates on the 1999 St. Louis Rams championship team. The helmet itself has the uniform design of the team during that era and considering that it contains the signature of both Faulk and Warner, sells for a reasonable $843.99.
Although Faulk is more famous for his playing career with the Rams. An autographed Indianapolis Colts helmet can also be purchased for $549.99.
An autographed Super Bowl XXXIV football can be purchased for $349.99. While a signed mini football retails at $126.99.
Many different autographed photos and pictures can be purchased. Including an 8-inch by 10-inch photograph of Faulk making a cut at the line with the Indianapolis Colts against the New York Jets.
The photo has a retro feel, appealing to older NFL fans, as the Jets are sporting their classic mid-90s, Kelly green uniforms.
When I was just starting out with my card collection, I had lots of questions about authenticity, trading, and card conditions. But with not that much information available online, I felt quite alone in my queries. Some questions still haven’t been answered to this day.
