The 2020 Panini Select XRC card is the only rookie card from 2020 on this list. Which may seem strange to some since Chase was drafted in 2021.
However, it is important to note that many card companies often insert redemption coupons into packs of cards that collectors can exchange for a specific card of a player at a later date. Most redemption coupons will remain active for 1-2 years before they expire.
In this case, the #411 Panini Select rookie card of Ja’Marr Chase was a redemption card. Printed in 2021 but technically a part of the 2020 Panini Select series.
The front of the card itself shows a picture of Chase running with the ball in a colorful background.
The back of the card, also very colorful, lists a very brief player bio.
There is a rare Prizm Redemption – Gold variation. That particular card, in PSA 10 condition is worth many $000’s.
9. 2021 Panini Immaculate RPA #112

The 1st of the 3 highly desirable rookie patch autograph (RPA) cards on this list.
The 2021 Panini Immaculate #112 card was 1 of 42 different RPAs in this set. This card has a limited run of 25 and is only likely to keep going up in value.
The front of the card pictures Chase running with the ball after making a catch on the left side with a jersey patch on the right side.
The autograph is located near the bottom of the card. But unlike most card autographs, which are centered and written straight across the bottom. This autograph slants upward from left to right.
One nice aspect of this card is that it contains a short player bio on the back. While this is commonplace for many regular cards.
Typically RPAs and other specialized memorabilia cards simply inform the collector on the back of the card that they have received a certified autograph and/or jersey card, without any player information.
8. 2021 Panini Black RPA #212

The 2nd RPA card on this list, the 2021 Panini Black #212 card is another great high-value option for collectors.
The card itself is a little more accessible than most RPAs and other specialty cards. With 199 cards printed in this version, although only 3 are currently available on eBay.
The black, orange, and gray color scheme throughout the card is a nice contrast from the bright, shiny colors that typically dominate the sports card market today.
The left side of the card’s front contains a picture of Chase. The right side contains the jersey patch, and the bottom of the card’s front contains the autograph.
Like the 2021 Panini Immaculate RPA. The Panini Black RPA contains a short player bio on the back of the card.
7. 2021 Panini Gold Standard RPA #282

The 3rd and final RPA card on this list. The 2021 Panini Cold Standard #282 RPA, is much rarer, with only 49 cards printed in this version.
Currently, only 2 cards in this RPA version are available on eBay. Both of which are ungraded, making it more difficult to get a proper valuation of the card. I have given the PSA 10 valuation a best guess but it could be far higher than my estimate. Especially given the limited numbers available for this card.
Collectors that are fortunate enough to land this card should try to get it professionally graded as soon as possible. This would greatly enhance its value potential.
The layout of the card’s front is pretty much the same as the other 2 RPAs on this list. But the color scheme contains a much shinier gold/metallic hue.
6. 2021 Panini Mosaic Draft Picks Scripts Autograph Gold #SM-JC

With 10 cards printed in the set and only 1 currently available for sale on eBay. The 2021 Mosaic Draft Picks Scripts Autograph Gold card is the rarest card on this list.
The picture on the card’s front showcases Chase running with the ball in his LSU uniform, amid a shiny gold and purple front. With the autograph centered at the bottom of the card’s front.
Although very little player bio information is listed, the artistic design of the card makes it a highly desirable card.
5. 2021 Ja’Marr Chase Panini Mosaic Gold #307 Rookie card

In addition to listing a brief player bio on the back, the card also includes Chase’s collegiate stats. Something that many of his rookie cards typically do not include.

With only 10 cards produced in the set and only 1 currently retailing on eBay. The 2021 Panini Prizm Chronicles Prizm Black Autograph Gold card is another high-end card that is both rare and valuable.
The card’s darker design with a black and orange color scheme, mimics the Bengals jersey colors. Giving the card a more fan-friendly appeal. While the gold color gives the card a high-value, artistic feel.
The signature is centered at the bottom of the card’s front, like most other autograph card designs. While the back of the card contains a player bio and Chase’s college stats.
3. 2021 Panini Prizm Stained-Glass #SG-7

The most creative Ja’Marr Chase rookie card is without question the Panini Absolute Kaboom version. This card expertly employs a cartoonish, comic-book design style throughout the entire product.
Both the front and back of the card picture Chase in a cartoon caricature format. Which is a nice change from many of the traditional in-game photos that categorize the majority of most sports cards.
The background of the card’s front is comprised of a shiny, silvery background with several different rainbow colors outlined throughout.
The word Kaboom is written on the front and back of the card in a bolded thick-style, comic-book font.

The most valuable Ja’Marr rookie card is by far the Panini Absolute Kaboom! #K46 Gold version.
The overall design and layout of the card are the same as the base version. Except for the color scheme of the background, which is a brilliant gold color.
Only 10 cards of these are in existence, with only 1 currently for sale on eBay. That one is a PSA 9 version retailing for $20,000 or best offer.
A PSA 10 version of this card could be the centerpiece and the crown jewel of any collection.
