Sports Card Pro isn’t an app in the traditional sense since it’s not available in the Android or iOS app stores. However, the website explains how to get a makeshift application by creating a shortcut on your home screen.

Some categories available on the platform include baseball, football, soccer, basketball, hockey, and even Pokemon cards. In addition, you have the option of searching for cards based on sports categories or a certain card provider. Therefore, if you want a collection from a particular company, you can quickly look for it.

You can also find Wax Packs, which are boxes of cards that allow you to compare prices. As a result, you can compare various costs and purchase the best deal. The boxes are labeled with the type of card you’ll receive. For example, you’ll find standard players in a hobby or retail box, while mega and blaster boxes contain high-end, top-class players.

Finally, the tools part is the most useful. The lot value calculator allows you to get the price of multiple cards in one place. The lot value automation tool, on the other hand, gives you the cost of sports card lists from eBay, Craigslist, or any other list of the same set.

  • The automated listings may sometimes be outdated

App Type: Free

Platform: iOS

Phone and apps

Cardstock Sports Card Scanner is only available on the Apple App Store, where it has over 900 ratings and a rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars. However, you can find one for Android through third-party app stores.

The application contains several tools to help users determine the value of their collections. The scanner uses your camera to transform photographs into a high-quality scan copy. As soon as you scan a card, the app searches the internet for available information. You get to know about the card’s availability as well as the most recent news.

A checklist tracking system is also included in the app to help you keep track of your collection progress and update completion. For example, the team or other users can contribute checklist templates to make checklist creation easier. Then, when you open a list, the software automatically searches for and fills in the corresponding cards.

The value lookup option allows you to search for similar cards sold on eBay, which can help you estimate the current value of your collection.

6.  Beckett Mobile

App Type: Freemium

Platform: Android and iOS

Beckett Mobile is an application for collecting, tracking and valuing sports cards. On the Google Play Store, it has around 850 reviews with a 3.3-star rating and 4.5 stars from 1.9K App Store ratings.

The app is a great place to keep track of your sports, non-sports, and gaming cards. Although it is available for free download, you will only have limited access to the software. You must purchase one of the three, six, nine, and 12-month subscription plans for full access to all features.

With just a few clicks, you can access your card’s attributes and prices. All you have to do is choose the sport and year of the card, then take a picture of it and scan it for value. However, you can also choose to enter the information manually.

You can view the population report and serial number lookups with the subscribed plans, which offer you access to a 5.5 million card list. Since the prices are updated daily, you can keep track of trends and list your card for sale at the most opportune moments.

Pros

  • You can view serial number lookups
  • Access to online market data reports
  • Relatively affordable with excellent features

Cons

  • The customer care services are lacking
  • The subscription fee is non-refundable

7.  WorthPoint

App Type: Free

Platform: Android and iOS

WorthPoint is not primarily developed for sports card trading, but it is ideal for collectors with an antique they wish to sell. You can, for example, utilize the app to sell your vintage sports cards.

In the app stores, the software has some notorious ratings. For example, it has only 3.5 stars from 185 ratings on Google Play Store. In addition, it received 2.3 stars with 91 ratings on the Apple App Store. Of course, these are bad ratings for any product in general, but users consider it the preferred site for selling old and antique items.

It is currently the tenth most popular shopping app, and it can be helpful if you have a collection of old sports cards. To use the app, you must first upload your card or collection and then set your price. Considering how many collectors visit the site, there is a high chance of selling yours.

Pros

  • There is a vast collection of antiques
  • The selling rates are relatively higher
  • A competitive platform to sell sports cards
  • Listed as one of the top ten shopping apps

Cons

  • The process for canceling the subscription plan is tricky

8.  SoldFor

App Type: Free

Platform: Android and iOS

SoldFor isn’t a dedicated sports card trading app, but it can help you remain on top of the market. The app has 47 App Store ratings with a 4.4-star average, while the Play Store has 69 ratings with a 3.6-star average.

The app is more of a valuable tool for getting information than for buying or trading sports cards. It gets details from the eBay market and displays the most recent selling statistics for a specific card. As a result, you can track patterns and determine how much a card is worth at any particular time.

It’s worth noting that certain cards sell at the best-discounted price on the market, so you’ll see a strikethrough next to the figure, leaving you in the dark about the actual pricing.

However, the SoldFor app gathers data to provide accurate value. Instead of what was offered, the application displays the card’s original selling price. It also gives you an estimate of how low a price can go, allowing you to wait for it to rise.

The data in the app can also show you the average selling price of cards over the last three months. In addition, a line graph is used to represent the data. Finally, it allows you to bookmark searches and return to them later for more up-to-date results.

Pros

  • You can get a deep market insight
  • Indication of the actual selling price
  • Access three-month card history
  • Save searches for quick access

Cons

  • Cards cannot be sold directly
  • The app does not allow you to upload your collection

9.  Panini Direct

App Type: Free

Platform: Android and iOS

Panini Direct is another sports card trading app that lets you buy, sell, and trade cards. However, it does not have good reviews in the app stores, with 28 App Store ratings of 3.1 stars and 820 Play Store ratings of 3.5 stars.

Regardless, the app offers several excellent features. Because of the valuable functions provided by the app, it has an equal proportion of one, two, and five-star reviews.

You can find trading cards from the NBA, NFL, FIFA, NASCAR, NHL, MLBPA, USA Baseball, and even Disney. The platform also includes cards of well-known athletes such as Kobe Bryant, John Wall, Andrew Luck, Kevin Durant, Dez Bryant, and others.

They offer autographed Panini memorabilia items that are guaranteed to be 100% original and come with a certificate of authenticity. You may also use the app to exchange your points for exclusive cards, stickers, and memorabilia. In addition, you can take advantage of the Panini Instant section to access limited-edition cards.

Pros

  • Order cards on-demand with Panini Instant
  • You can redeem points for exclusive gifts
  • Get authentic signed merchandise
  • The app offers a personalized experience

Cons

  • You need to log in every time you open the app
  • It does not handle blockchain and NFTs well

10.               eBay

App Type: Free

Platform: Android and iOS

Ebay sports card App icon

We propose eBay for individuals who don’t want a third party to get involved and wish to sell their cards right away. The app has a 4.8-star rating on the Apple App Store with 3.2 million ratings and a 4.5-star rating on the Google Play Store with 4.1 million ratings.

The procedure is relatively straightforward. You simply list your card for sale and sell it to the highest bidder. However, be careful not to overprice it, as cards with high prices are less likely to sell than those with average rates.

After that, look at other sales to get an idea of how much your card is worth. Finally, you can set a reasonable price to increase your chances of selling the cards.

Pros

  • Reputable platform
  • Many sports cards are uploaded daily
  • You can get potential buyers offering high prices
  • The listing procedure is simple

Cons

  • It has strict policies
  • It charges commissions on sales

  1. I have a pretty large set of cards from baseball to Star wars, I have no idea what I am doing most of them are in really great shape, like AL Lopez #97, Joe Mcginnity NNO and Lloyd Waner #16, these are almost pristine to my untrained eye. I would like some help to determine which cards I should get graded to get the most of a sale, I will be selling my entire collection. I found an app called COLLX and I have currently uploaded 237 baseball cards, 143 Hockey cards and on Sports card collection I have approximately 150 football cards and 44 basketball cards, I have not loaded them all into COLLX at this point, but I am showing 1 card to be valued at 70,000 +. I know nothing about cards or collecting.
